Q:  What kind of connector does the charger use?
A:  It has a micro USB input


Q:  How is the charger powered?
A:  It is powered via a 5V/2 A USB source, such as a USB port or a USB wall adapter

Q:  What are the charging times?
A:  Charging time is as follows:
  • AA batteries take approximately 4-5 hours to charge.
  • AAA batteries take about 2 hours to charge. 

Q:  What types of batteries can I charge?
A:  It supports NiMH and NiCd AA or AAA rechargeable batteries.


Q:  How many batteries can I charge at once?
A:  Up to 4 batteries. It has independent charging channels, meaning each battery is monitored and charged separately. 


Q:  Can I charge my AA's and AAA's at the same time?
A:  Yes, you can charge both AA's and AAA's at the same time


Q:  How should I prepare new batteries?
A:  For best results, charge brand-new batteries and let them stay overnight in the charger to fully activate them


Q:  What do the LED indicator lights mean?
A:  Below are the light indicators:
  • Light Off: No battery inserted or battery in poor health
  • Solid White Light: Charging complete
  • Flashing White Light (once per second): Charging in progress
  • Fast Flashing White Light (4 times per second): Battery fault detected. It is often due to improper seating, non-rechargeable batteries, or batteries that can no longer accept charge. 

Q:  What happens if I insert my battery in the charger backwards? Will it damage the charger or battery? 
A:  The charger will not charge that slot. The LED white light will start flashing fast (4 times per second) on that particular slot indicating there is a bad battery.


Q:  Can I leave my batteries in the charger? 
A:  You can leave your batteries in the charger once they are done charging and don't have to take them out right away. However, we DO NOT recommend storing your batteries in the charger. You can use a battery holder to store your batteries. 


Q:  Can I use other brand batteries in the charger? 
A:  Yes, as long as they are NiMH rechargeable batteries. However, we always recommend using Powerex batteries for best performance. 


Q:  Does the charger have warranty? 
A:  Yes, it has a 1 year limited warranty. It covers manufacturing defects, but does not cover misuse, abuse, or modifications.
