Q: Can I charge only 1 battery?
A: No, you can only charge your batteries in pairs, either 2 or 4 batteries. You can put a set of 2 batteries in the first 2 left slots and another set of 2 batteries in the last 2 right slots.
Q: Do I leave the charger's lid closed or open?
A: Whenever the batteries are inserted in the charger, always leave the lid open to allow better cooling.
Q: What does a solid RED light mean?
A: It means the batteries are charging.
Q: What does a flashing RED light mean?
A: It means you have a bad battery.
Q: What does a solid GREEN light mean?
A: It means your batteries are done charging.
Q: What happens if I insert my battery in the charger backwards? Will it damage the charger or battery?
A: The charger will not charge that slot. The LED light will start flashing a Red Light on that particular slot indicating there is a bad battery.
Q: Can I leave my batteries in the charger?
A: You can leave your batteries in the charger once they are done charging and don't have to take them out right away. However, we DO NOT recommend storing your batteries in the charger. You can use a battery holder to store your batteries.
Q: Can I use other brand batteries in the charger?
A: Yes, as long as they are NiMH rechargeable batteries. However, we always recommend using Powerex batteries for best performance.
